It's also nice to read what the writer wrote about the item, because he did go through the trouble to write it and all. After that, You should be able to figure it out. Good luck. > > > > > > > > > > -Rifty > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Thanks so much. lelo > > > > > > > > Rifty, > > > > thanks for the great hint. I'm going to go see if I can figure it out now. I appriciate that you took me seriiously about tiny-hints. And that hint you gave me is good for most any game. ;) > > > > lelo > > > > > > I think that I should show the Mirror Shard to the creature in the Lab. But, I'm never given that options. Hmmmm. Am I on the right track? If so, why won't he look at it? > > > > Nevermind, I figured it out. > > Rifty, > > Thanks again for your help. I always look at the objects I collect but I must have restarted the game and didn't bother to look at them again. That was very tricky on the part of the game designer. Also the click click click on the same option in a few places made things hard. > > Over all it was a great game. I loved it. It was very logical but still a puzzle with lots of obsticals to overcome. Good humor and some cute tricks. > > I finally solved it! I had that one hint from you and one from decarter51 earlier that got me over a click click click situation. Thanks to both of you. > > Now for the big news ... I have new low scores. I'll gloat in detail somewhere else.
I actually saw that when i was poking around in the hall of fame yesterday. Congratulations. It's always fun to get those, isn't it?
And thank you for the "Tricky" comment. Being the game designer, that's what I was going for. I knew the game was super easy, so I used several misleading phrases and other forms of trickery to make it more challenging. It feels kind of cheap and almost like cheating to me, but there it is.
As for the trickery of having to examine an object to achieve a result, there's one game in the suite of adventure games where you need to put several items together to achieve a result, the only problem with that being one of the ingredients you need you can't get unless you examine another specific item. So, there's precedent for that.
Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed the game, and I hope it's helped prepare you for some of the more challenging ones.
Have a GREAT day! -Rifty
