I don't remember what it was called, but I recently saw a movie trailer for a film about an old man who is determined to cross the country on his old beat-up riding mower. It stars Richard Farnsworth. There were numerous shots of him driving down long country roads going about ten miles an hour or so, dragging his trailer full of stuff behind him while other traffic zoomed by going fifty or sixty.

It looked and sounded like it was supposed to be a "touching" film, but the effect of the trailer struck me as somewhat funny. Anyway...

You mentioned route 41. Route 41 is Main Street in the town I live in. If you ever decide to drive it, stop by and see some real Americans.
