I picked up about six bags of leaves, sticks, hickory nuts, acorns, pine needles, and all kinds of good stuff for the compost pile. If this weather keeps up, I'll be mowing grass. The daffodills are in the bud stage. Two or three more warm days and they will be open. And it's still January. Maybe there is something to this global warming stuff. We have kids in the neighborhood who are eight years old and have never seen enough snow to build a snowman.
