In the movie, the way it works, is that, once they have chosen their memories, the workers at this station put together a set and all that and they film them. So although you don't actually see that woman's taping, I would imagine that it would go from when she started walking along the bridge, having this loss. And, presumably, in the instant of seeing him, the rush of positive emotion might correspond to her earlier pain. Then, there's a suggestion that heaven consists of watching these films. So, in watching the memory, she would remeber the necessary context. I think.
