Nothing better that spending it in fair Verona, Italy, where Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet drama took place.

Having breakfast in a charming place near the ancient Roman Theatre.
Walking all along the promenade near the Adige river.
Wandering about in the medieval downtown, maybe looking for some antiques shops or bookstores.

Except two little details.
I was actually in Verona, teaching to the technical staff of a bank how to have care of the NCR ATMs they recently bought and how to operate them with the Euro currency (and spent there all the day, 07.00am to 21.00am, plus a total of 3 hours on the highway, going back and forth from my base in Milan).

My girlfriend was as usual in Turin (that's at least 350km far away from Verona), trying to reach her next career advancement and selling or buying stocks either on the NYSE or the Milan Stocks Exchange.

Of course, it was raining and the overall feelings where those of a dull and gray day :)
