Not entirely so. I noticed it was the next one up so I thought I'd go for it. As it happened I got it. I deliberately didn't make it all, "I got the 50,000th post! Yay me!" as that just seemed somewhat crass. (Plus someone else may have been watching too and beaten me to it.)

I have been trying to get first in the Reader Poll ever since I found Rinkworks, so a forum milestone seemed like a good second best.
