I think what they're saying is that for a long time venture capitalists just threw money at them for no reason, and now that people have come to their senses, they have no idea how to operate without all that free cash coming in.

It's the same as pretty much all .bombs. Once the free money dried up, they realized their business plan failed to address crucial business ideas such as "making money" and "not spending 100 times more than we bring in".
