fantasy quest - towers (minor spoilers?)

Ok, I've read through this whole forum thing and havent really found anything...I think I need another password to get into the castle w/the crack, but have no clue as to how...

Inventory:
Sack
Rope
Hook
Branch
Silver Key
Gold Key
Sword
Shovel
Scroll
Hammer
Nails
Bow
Arrow
Fishing Pole
Club
Ticket
Pass Ring
Sunstone

Passwords I have obtained thus far:
"Peanut Butter."
"Jello Bath."
"Tootle Cakes."

I've been through the garden, given the sorcerer the leaves, fed the hungry dwarf guy, gotten to the South tower, I can't get past guard...I understand I need to give him something, but I havent been in the north tower...I need a float ring for that I believe? I don't have one...I don't know how to get one either....
So could anyone give me some advice as what I need to do to get into the towers? Am I missing a gold coin that I have not found? Any help whatsoever would be highly appreciated.
