I tried not to...here's two I love from Fawlty Towers.
Basil Fawlty: Is there? Well I'd like to meet him. I could do with a laugh.
O'Reilly: You'll have to worry for the both of us. I tell you, if the Good Lord---
Basil Fawlty: ---is mentioned ONCE more, I shall move you closer to him.
and:
Basil: Might I suggest you get a hearing aid?
Mrs. Richards: I have a hearing aid.
Basil: Would you like me to get it repaired?
Mrs Richards: It's not damaged. I don't turn it on.
Basil: Why?
Mrs Richards: The battery runs down.
Oh, all right. One or two from 'Yes, Minister'.
(Hacker goes to leave the office)
Hacker: Wh...what's going to happen?
Sir Humphrey: Well, Minister...the Prime Minister giveth and the Prime Minister taketh away...
(Hacker leaves, Sir Humphrey and Bernard begin to leave)
Sir Humphrey: Blessed be the name of the Prime Minister...
and:
Hacker: Excellent idea, Humphrey!
Sir Humphrey: Takes two to QUANGO, Minister.
Apologies to anyone who hasn't seen Yes Minister, you don't know what you've missed. Besides, if HE can quote something I've never seen... ;-)
